Mine died this morning of all mornings. Wife has book club tonight so I'm solo parenting and I needed that caffeine. Ended up going old school with a pour over but man it's not the same. Anyone have recommendations for a new one that won't cost me an arm and a leg?
This is a legit crisis. My coffee maker breaking would be the final straw on a rough day like that. Can you get a replacement today or are you going full caffeine-free until it's fixed? Either way I'm praying for you.
With twin four year olds I've had plenty of solo nights and nothing makes them worse than low caffeine. Quick run to the gas station for some strong coffee might be worth it. Just saying.
That's rough timing. When my machine broke I ended up just making a big pot of instant and honestly it got me through. Not fancy but it works in a pinch. Hang in there, solo parenting nights always feel longer than they are.

Oh no, not on solo parenting night! That's like Murphy's Law of coffee makers. I'd hit up a neighbor to borrow a pot or just accept that today is going to be a tired day. You can do it though, book club nights are usually not too crazy.
