Anyone else's kid refuse to eat anything green?

My 6yo has literally not eaten a vegetable since last Tuesday. We're not talking picky - I mean he sees anything green and acts like it's poison. His mom's side of the family (naturally) loves to point out that I 'let him get away with it' but like... what am I supposed to do, force-feed him broccoli? Tried mixing it into spaghetti sauce, he somehow still detected it. Any actual tips or am I just destined to have a kid who survives on chicken nuggets and pasta for the next 12 years?
