Anyone else's kids obsessed with these ridiculous YouTube channels?

My 7 year old will literally watch videos of other kids unboxing toys for hours. I dont get it at all. We grew up with actual cartoons and games and now kids just watch other people play with stuff? Feels like lazy parenting to let him watch it but honestly some days I need 30 minutes of peace to just drink my coffee and not hear constant questions. Am I alone in this or is everyone dealing with this?
