My 6 year old has watched the same toy unboxing video like 50 times this week. I don't get it but she's mesmerized. At least she's not asking me to buy the toy... yet. Wife thinks I should limit screen time more but honestly it's the only way I get 20 minutes of peace on a Sunday morning.
Man, my toddler is the same way with those videos. At 2 years old he'll watch the same thing on repeat and I just let it happen because honestly sometimes you need those 20 minutes of peace.
My 2 year old is obsessed with unboxing videos too. No idea why but if it keeps him quiet while I'm making dinner I'm not complaining.
Could be worse, at least she's not asking for everything in the video. Mine would want every single toy after watching once.
Yeah this is the weird stuff that comes with parenting. My kids watched the same slime video like a hundred times. At least it's not violent or anything, just boring for us adults.
Oh man my 5 year old does this too. I watched one of those videos with her once and I genuinely don't understand the appeal but she was mesmerized. Just letting her watch it while I make dinner haha.
50 times is a lot though. Might be worth limiting it at some point. I let mine watch screens but I try to keep it under control. What else does she do for fun?

I don't get it either but my oldest has been into these forever. Honestly it's just background noise at this point when he's playing with toys.
