Anyone else's kids request cereal for dinner?

So my wife is working late tonight and my kids asked if they could have cereal for dinner. Just cereal. No milk even, they wanted to eat it dry. I said no obviously but man I was tempted just to not have to cook anything. These long work days are killing me. Looking forward to the weekend just to chill and actually have time to make real food. How do you guys handle the exhausting dinner time routine?
