Anyone else's team absolutely choking this season?

I'm a Lions fan and I should be used to disappointment by now but this year is different. We're actually good and then we just play like we've never seen a football before. Watching that game last Sunday with my dad and my 6 year old was rough. At least my son doesn't understand enough to be mad about it yet.

This year really does feel different though. I've been watching them struggle for so long that seeing actual hope is both exciting and terrifying. Don't let me down this time, Lions.

Lions fan here too, buddy. We've suffered enough over the years that this kind of competence is almost weird to experience. Don't jinx it by saying they're actually good though, that's when the collapse happens.

The fact that you're still a Lions fan after all these years says something about your character honestly. Stick with them. This might actually be the year.
