Anyone else schedule their life around Saturday morning cartoons?
I get it, I'm old school. But there's something nice about Saturday morning with the kids watching their shows while I make pancakes and coffee. No rushing, no screaming about being late. Just the smell of breakfast and terrible cartoon dialogue in the background. My wife thinks I'm weird for protecting this time but honestly it's the best part of my week.
This is actually peak parenting honestly. There's something really special about Saturday mornings when nobody's stressed. You're not old school - you're actually doing it right. The rushed weekday breakfast with everyone yelling is the weird part.
