Attempting to make homemade pasta from scratch this weekend. Watched like 10 youtube videos and I'm still pretty sure I'm going to mess it up. But my kids asked for it so here we go. Will report back with either triumph or disaster photos.

Homemade pasta from scratch is ambitious. Respect the hustle. I'd recommend just accepting the first batch will be a learning experience and save the perfect pasta expectations for batch two or three. The good news is even if it's weird it usually still tastes okay.

Making pasta with kids is chaos but it's fun chaos. My twins destroyed our kitchen doing this a few months ago but they were so proud when we actually ate what they made. Protip: flour goes everywhere no matter how careful you are.
