Been eyeballing the Fyra model for the backyard. Pizza nights with the family sound perfect but they're spendy and I'm wondering if I'd actually use it enough to justify the cost. How long do you dads actually use seasonal stuff before it becomes a yard decoration? Be honest lol
The Fyra is solid but make sure you have the space for it. Mine takes up a decent chunk of the patio and you need clearance around it for safety. Also budget for a decent cover and maybe a stand if you go that route.
Pizza nights sound amazing. One thing nobody tells you - you'll want to set expectations about cook times upfront or your family gets hangry waiting for food. We do appetizers while the oven heats up now.

Got the Fyra last summer and honestly it's been the best backyard investment we've made. Fair warning though - there's a learning curve with the wood pellets and getting the temperature right. First few pizzas were rough but once you dial it in it's incredible. My kids love watching the flames.
Have you checked out the Gozney Dome instead? A few of my buddies swear by it over the Ooni models. Either way you're gonna have fun times with it.
