Started this last week and I'm only 3 episodes in but WOW. It's stressful but in like a good way? The restaurant kitchen stuff is actually interesting and the main guy is incredible. Fair warning - there's some rough language and intensity that's maybe not dad-bro-comedy vibes but if you like good TV it's solid. No spoilers but I'm hooked.
The Bear is genuinely great if you like intense stuff. Fair warning though - it gets DARK and the language is pretty heavy. But yeah the kitchen stuff is actually interesting, not just screaming for drama.
For a dad it's kind of a good watch because it's stressful in a 'watching someone problem-solve' way instead of emotional drama. The kitchen management stuff is like watching people's brains work.
The main guy is incredible - I won't spoil anything but his performance is actually next level. You're in for a ride.
Only 3 episodes in and you haven't gotten to the worst stuff yet lol but I respect the heads up about language. It's not a family watch at all but yeah if you like good TV it's solid.

Fair warning about the language though - there's like 15 f-bombs in episode 2 alone if you're watching with people around
