Backyard grill setup advice

Looking to upgrade my grill situation this spring. Been using a cheap Walmart special for like 5 years and it's falling apart. Thinking about going with a nice pellet grill but my wife says I'm spending too much money on what amounts to a hobby. Guys, help me justify this purchase. What grills do you have and do you actually use them enough to justify the cost?

Definitely go with a real grill if you can swing it. I picked up a decent Traeger a couple years ago and haven't looked back - set it and forget it on weeknights when you're dealing with the chaos.

Nothing beats firing up a good grill when you want to spend some quality time outside. My son and I hang out by mine whenever we're not out fishing, so might as well have one you actually enjoy using.

We upgraded from a cheap one to a nicer setup and honestly it's been worth every penny. Gets used way more now that I'm not fighting with temperature control the whole time.
