Looking to upgrade from my tiny charcoal grill. I've got maybe 6x8 feet of patio space so can't go too big. Don't wanna spend more than 300 bucks. Was thinking Weber or maybe a Char-Griller? What do you guys recommend?
I went with a compact pellet grill last year for basically the same footprint. Takes up less space than a full-size propane and honestly the temperature control is way better. You'll want to measure your exact clearance though because you need a little breathing room on the sides.
Heads up on those budget grills though - had one fall apart after like 18 months. Spend the extra $100-150 and get something with decent reviews. Your patio setup is tight so you want it to last.

Depends on how often you grill really. If you're doing weeknight stuff, a small propane is the move. Charcoal gets tedious when you've got limited space and kids running around. I upgraded to a small Weber and haven't looked back.
