Wife has book club every other Friday so I'm solo with the kids. Instead of stressing about dinner I just throw some frozen pizzas in the oven, we make our own toppings, and call it an adventure. Kids think they're helping me cook, pizzas turn out great, minimal dishes. Everyone's happy. Sometimes the best parenting is just accepting you don't have to do everything from scratch. Life hack unlocked.
