Best grill setup for a small patio?

Got maybe 8x10 of patio space and I'm tired of using my little Weber kettle. Want something that feels like a real investment but won't take up the whole yard. Gas or charcoal? Thinking about those kamado style things but they're pricey. What's your setup look like?

For that size I'd honestly look at a nice charcoal grill. The Weber Kettle is solid but if you want an upgrade without going crazy, a 22 inch Kettle Plus or a Kamado Joe would be perfect for 8x10. Give you some actual cooking room.

Been through this upgrade cycle myself. Get something with decent table space on both sides. You'll use it way more if you're not constantly juggling plates and prep stuff on the ground.

Pellet grill changed my life but they take up space. If you want something compact that still feels like an upgrade, can't go wrong with a quality charcoal setup. More to tinker with too.
