This is happening next weekend and I'm getting hyped. Wife wants to do a farmers market and brunch thing. I kinda want to just sit and do nothing. We'll probably compromise and do both. But man, am I looking forward to not negotiating with anyone for 4 hours. What do you guys do when you actually get free time?
This is what keeps me sane honestly. Having something to look forward to where it's just the two of us. Don't overpack the day though - sometimes the best part is just not being needed for a few hours.
Farmers market and brunch sounds perfect honestly. Get some good food, don't rush, actually have a conversation without interruptions. That's the dream right there.
Take a nap. I'm not joking. Next weekend without kids? I'm sleeping in until 9 and then we're doing whatever requires the least amount of decision making.

Dude, enjoy that silence. I'd say do half of what each of you wants - farmers market in the morning, come back and relax, then do something just for you in the afternoon. My wife and I usually take turns picking activities when we get a rare free day.
