Bought a Costco membership and my grocery bill actually went DOWN

Was skeptical but the math checks out. Yeah you buy more at once but the per-unit prices are legit cheaper. Plus they have a decent rotisserie chicken situation. Currently my 4yo thinks Costco is Disneyland so that's a bonus. $65/year membership already paid for itself

the fact that your 4yo thinks costco is disneyland is killing me. he's not wrong tho - it kind of is if you're a kid. those samples? the vibe? unlimited snacks on the horizon?

costco trips with young kids hit different. the samples, the bulk stuff, just wandering around. my daughter asks to go regularly now and i'm not even mad about it
