Coffee or energy drink to survive parenting?
Coffee used to be enough but now I feel like I need something extra. Five year old was up at 5 AM and wouldn't go back to sleep. Had three cups of coffee and I'm still running on fumes at 2 PM. Do you guys switch to energy drinks or am I just getting old?
Coffee black, no sugar. That's my answer. But if you're feeling like you need MORE than you used to, that might be worth paying attention to. Are you getting decent sleep at all? A 5am wake-up is brutal.
