Coffee recommendations?

I've been buying whatever is on sale at the grocery store but lately I'm thinking I want to step up my coffee game. Don't want to spend crazy money but also tired of mediocre coffee every morning. Do I need a fancy grinder and machine or can I just get better beans? Help a sleep deprived dad out.

Local roasters near you are probably worth checking out. I started doing that in Seattle and honestly it's not much pricier than grocery store stuff once you find a good spot.

Try Costco if you have a membership - their Kirkland brand is solid and way cheaper than specialty shops. I grab a bag every few weeks and it's been a game changer without breaking the bank.
