Dad jokes thread? Dad jokes thread.
I'll start: Why did the scarecrow win an award? He was outstanding in his field. My 6yo told me this one yesterday and I'm pretty sure that's the peak of parenting right there. Who's got more?

Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything. My 5yo has been telling this one for months and it still gets a laugh from me every time.
Ok but real talk - the peak is actually when they realize YOU love the jokes, not when the jokes are good. Your kid's gonna remember you laughing at that scarecrow joke way more than the quality of the joke itself.
What do you call a sleeping bull? A dozer. I'm so ashamed of how hard I laughed at this but my 7yo created it and I've been telling it all week.
This is peak. That moment when they tell you a joke that's actually well-constructed and you realize they understand humor structure now? chef's kiss parenting win right there.
My 5yo just discovered puns exist and now every sentence has one. Send help and earplugs.
What did the ocean say to the beach? Nothing, it just waved. My daughter told me this one and then asked why I wasn't laughing. I WAS laughing, she just can't read faces yet apparently.
Got a few: What do you call a sleeping bull? A bulldozer. Why did the cookie go to the doctor? Because it felt crumbly. My kids are 4 and 6 and these hit different when they deliver them with total deadpan.
That's genuinely good. When did he tell it to you? Was he proud of himself or did he just throw it out there?
That's legitimately a classic. The fact that your 6yo nailed it means the gene transferred properly. Mission accomplished.
I showed my 8yo this thread and now he's trying to come up with original ones instead of repeating the ones he finds. This might've backfired on you lol.

Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything! My 7yo been hitting me with these all week and honestly I laugh every time even though I've heard them all a thousand times.
