Does anyone actually enjoy their job or is it all just paying bills?
Real question. I'm in accounting, it pays well enough, but I spend 40+ hours a week doing something I'm pretty neutral about. Just seems like a lot of my life to spend on something I don't care about. My buddy quit his job last year to do freelance work and he's way happier but also constantly stressed about money. Idk, just had a moment of existential dread at my desk today.
Accounting sounds like the worst though ngl. At least I work in tech and there's some problem-solving. With accounting it's just... rules and spreadsheets forever? No wonder you're neutral about it
