Does anyone else's partner LOVE those true crime podcasts?

My wife listens to like 5 different true crime podcasts and now I know way more about serial killers than I ever wanted to. She'll be driving and just casually drop facts about crime scenes while the kids are in the backseat. I'm just sitting there like "maybe save this one for after the kids are asleep?" But she's in deep and there's no stopping her. Anyone else dealing with a true crime podcast addict?

My wife does the same thing and I've learned way too much about forensic evidence and serial killer psychology. The worst is when she's casually describing a crime scene while we're eating dinner

The casual crime scene facts are hilarious but also kind of unsettling in front of the kids? My wife will mention details about a murder in the car and I'm making faces trying to get her to notice the kids are listening lol

The driving thing is wild. I'll be getting the kids ready for school and my wife will just casually drop 'did you know serial killers often...' like we're not actively parenting right now

My wife listens to true crime and I listen to fantasy audiobooks so we're just out here with completely different brain content but at least we're both entertained during drives

lol at least your wife listens to 5 different ones. Mine listens to the SAME true crime podcast for like 3 hours a day and keeps retelling me the same stories. I've heard about the same 1985 murder like 30 times

Honestly I kind of love that my wife has a thing she's passionate about even if it's slightly morbid. Better than her just scrolling Instagram the whole time. And she's learned legit stuff about how to stay safe
