Fantasy football draft this weekend

First year doing this with my buddies and I have no idea what I'm doing. I've got the 6th pick overall. Should I go RB or WR first? Also is it weird that I've spent like 8 hours looking at rankings when I should be doing yard work lol

First year fantasy football is the best though. No expectations, just have fun with it. My advice: don't overthink the early picks. Go for a solid running back or receiver in the first few rounds and build from there. Have fun with your buddies that's the main thing.

Being the new guy to a league is fun because everyone cuts you slack. Just pick players you actually like watching and don't stress too hard about the stats everyone's throwing around. I made the mistake of over researching my first year and took all the fun out of it.

6th pick is actually a good spot. You could go wide receiver or running back and still get solid depth later. I'd recommend checking out some mock drafts beforehand so you at least know who's available at each round. Makes it less stressful.
