Fantasy football draft tomorrow, what a waste of time but I'm still hyped

Been telling myself I'm too busy with the kids to care about this year's draft but here I am at midnight watching highlight reels and reading mock drafts. My buddies talk trash already which means I have to at least show up to the draft ready. This is gonna be the year I finally win lol.

Your secret's safe with me brother. Fantasy football kept me sane during some rough co-parenting weeks. Nothing wrong with having a hobby that gets your competitive juices flowing.

Same energy every year. I tell myself I'm not doing it and then I'm somehow on ESPN at 11:47pm finalizing my roster. The draft is tomorrow for us too and I've got my rankings printed out next to my coffee maker. Kids will understand someday why dad needs this one thing.

Dude I feel this in my soul. I was like "nah not this year" and then I started reading mock drafts at lunch and now I'm full invested again. We're allowed to have one thing that's just ours, right?
