Wife is gonna kill me because I stayed up way too late but man that felt good. I've been stuck on this for like 3 weeks and kept getting wrecked. Finally figured out the pattern and just went for it. Now I feel like I can actually sleep instead of grinding the same fight over and over. Anyone else do late night gaming escapes?
Dude I feel this in my soul. The Elden Ring grind is real. I've been there at 2am thinking about how angry my wife is gonna be and also being way too hyped about beating something.
This is why I sneak gaming sessions after everyone's in bed. The 2am thing though, she's definitely gonna notice you dragging. Good luck with that conversation.
That's awesome but yeah good luck explaining the 2am thing. My wife found out I was gaming after she went to bed and I lost gaming privileges for a week.
Worth it though right? That boss fight feeling is something you don't get anywhere else. Just maybe tell her you beat it before you show her how tired you are tomorrow.
