Finally finished The Last of Us on HBO

That show was incredible. Like genuinely one of the best things I've watched in years. Haven't had time to sit down for stuff like this since before the kids so it felt weird and awesome at the same time. My wife watched it with me and we both just sat there in silence for like 20 minutes after the finale. Anyone else watching it?

That show hit different for me as a dad honestly. All the stuff about protecting your kid and what you'd do for them... yeah it got to me. My 3 month old was sleeping next to me during one episode and I had to pause it.

Same here man. I finally watched it last month after the kids went to bed and I was just glued to the screen. Pedro Pascal absolutely carried that show. Haven't had time for TV like that in forever but it was worth staying up late for.

The HBO version was way better than I expected it to be. I watched it with my ex and we actually agreed on something for once which felt like a miracle. Great storytelling.
