Small win but I'll take it!! Watched a YouTube video, went to Lowes, grabbed a flapper kit for like $8. Took 15 minutes. My wife seemed actually impressed which was nice lol. Feels good to fix stuff instead of immediately throwing money at it
Small wins are still wins my friend! This is the kind of stuff that builds confidence for tackling bigger projects around the house.
YouTube has taught me so much about home repair over the years. My kids literally watched me fix the toilet the other day and I'm pretty sure my 7yo was taking mental notes. One day he'll do his own repairs too.
Honestly saving $150-200 on a plumber call is worth celebrating. That flapper kit probably cost like 5 bucks. DIY wins like this are the best.

Nice dude! Replacing the flapper is like the gateway drug to doing your own home repairs. Next thing you know you'll be fixing drywall and replacing light fixtures.
