Finally got a grill and cooked my first brisket

Spent like 14 hours smoking this thing yesterday and it turned out pretty decent. Kids said it was too dry but my buddy Jake said it was perfect so I'm counting that as a win. Cost me way more than just buying one from the grocery store but man it felt good. Anyone got tips for next time? Thinking about doing ribs this weekend.
