Finally got around to finishing the kitchen reno

After like 8 months of having a torn up kitchen, we finally got the new countertops installed yesterday. Wife is so happy she keeps just standing there looking at them lol. Now I just gotta figure out how to fix the gap between the island and the wall before she notices. Anyone else do their own reno work or did you guys hire it all out?

That's awesome man, bet the whole house feels different now. Nothing like a project actually getting finished, your wife has every right to just stand there and admire it.

Eight months is brutal, congrats on getting through that! Fair warning though, with my little one in the teething phase right now, everything that comes off those counters is going straight in her mouth, so baby-proof those corners.
