Took my 8 year old out to the lake Saturday morning and he actually caught a catfish. The look on his face was priceless. He named it Gerald before we threw it back. Spent the whole day talking about Gerald. Best $40 I've spent on gear in a long time.

Catfish! Nice first catch. My son is still scared of the worms so we're not quite there yet but seeing your success makes me think we might actually pull it off someday soon.
