Got my grill cleaned up and ready to go. Planning to do burgers and dogs for the kids this weekend and maybe some steaks for me and the wife after they go to bed. My neighbor asked to borrow my grill next week and I'm like buddy no that's not happening. This is my sanctuary. Anyone else get weirdly protective of their grill or is that just me?
Nothing beats firing up the grill for the first time when the weather gets nice. Those burgers and dogs are gonna hit different, and steaks after the kids are down sounds perfect to me.

Same here! There's something about that first grill of the season that just hits different. Pro tip - let your grate get really hot before you put anything on it. Makes a huge difference with burgers.
You doing hot dogs for the picky eaters and burgers for yourself? That's always my strategy. Plus my 7 year old likes helping me load up the grill even though he mostly gets in the way.
