Grilling season is upon us
Just cleaned my Weber and she's looking pristine. Planning to smoke a brisket next weekend for the neighborhood. If anyone has a good dry rub recipe that isn't too complicated I'm all ears. My usual one is getting boring.

Nice man, timing is perfect. I've been thinking about firing up mine too but between three kids and their activities I barely have time to clean it, let alone plan a full smoke session. Props for getting organized early.
That Weber is gonna be a beast for that brisket. I'd go with brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and a good amount of black pepper - can't go wrong with the basics. Your neighborhood's gonna love you for this.
That Weber is a beast. I'm still rocking my old charcoal grill but there's something about having a clean grill that makes you want to fire it up immediately. Brisket is the ultimate test run. How many hours are you planning for the smoke?
Sprinklers might be cheaper entertainment but nothing beats standing over a grill with a cold drink in hand watching the smoke roll. Grilling season is the best season.
Just got mine cleaned too. There's something therapeutic about it. Kids actually want to hang around when you're grilling so it's a win-win for time together.

Man, a neighborhood brisket cook sounds amazing. If you want something with a little kick, try mixing in some cayenne with your usual rub. Just a touch though so you don't overpower the smoke flavor.
