Okay that show hit different now that I'm a dad. Not gonna spoil anything but wow. The whole thing about protecting your kid and what you'd do for them just hits harder now. My wife watched it with me and we both got emotional. Needed something good to watch after the kids went to bed and I definitely got that.
Watched it recently and yeah there's a scene early on that's gonna stick with you forever if you're a parent. The show is incredible.
Haven't watched it yet but everyone keeps saying this. Guess I need to brace myself before I hit play. Fair warning to any new dads thinking about starting it soon.
Man I completely get this. I watched it before kids and thought it was good. Rewatched a few episodes after my two were born and I had to turn it off. That parent-child dynamic hits you different now. The stakes feel way more real.
Same. I actually had to pause it multiple times because certain scenes just hit different now. No spoilers but the parent stuff got me good.
Dude yes! I ugly cried at parts I didn't even care about the first time. Being a parent changes what you're willing to watch honestly. Some shows just hurt more now.
