Just got into woodworking and I'm obsessed

Started building a bookshelf last month and now I'm planning a whole deck. There's something so satisfying about making something with your hands. Plus it gives me an excuse to spend time in the garage away from the chaos for a bit. Anybody else do woodworking or similar projects? Looking for recommendations on tools that are actually worth the money.

That's awesome dude. Building stuff with your hands is the best therapy, especially with two kids running around here. Just wait til your kids want to help you build something on that deck.

A whole deck sounds amazing. There's definitely something about creating something real instead of staring at a screen all day.
