Just made croissants from scratch and holy shit

It took 3 days and my kitchen looked like a bomb went off but I finally nailed laminated dough. Not perfect but legitimately flaky and buttery. My 8yo son was genuinely impressed which never happens.
If you've been thinking about trying this - do it. The butter compartment folds are annoying but it's totally doable without fancy equipment. Spent like $8 on butter and flour and got 12 croissants out of it.
