Bought a bunch of stuff I probably don't need but you know how it is. You go in for one thing and come out looking like you're building a deck. The worst part is I know I have half this stuff in the garage already. My wife just laughed when I brought it all in.
Home Depot is dangerous that way. You go in for drywall anchors and leave with enough lumber to build a deck. Every single time.

Dude, I went in for a single shelf bracket last week and left with $180 worth of stuff I'm still finding in my garage. Home Depot is basically a dad trap and I fall for it every time.
Haha yeah, I grabbed way more than I needed for a small fix too. But hey, at least you have supplies for the next thing that breaks, which with a kid around happens constantly.

Two hundred bucks for a twenty minute project is basically the dad tax. I once spent that much on supplies to hang a shelf. Now I have a garage shelf AND enough leftover brackets to build three more shelves I don't need.
