Kids soccer game chaos this weekend

So my 6 year old had his first real soccer game and it was hilarious. The kids basically just crowded around the ball in one giant blob and moved around the field as a unit. My kid scored but then went to the wrong goal. Parents were going crazy cheering but honestly I was just laughing. He had a blast though which is what matters. Anyone else got weekend sports parent stories?
