Just wanted to drop this because I've seen like 5 posts about meal prep. I got a Frigidaire 7.0 cubic foot freezer last year and it's genuinely changed how I do weeknight dinners. Batch cook on Sundays, freeze in portions, reheat during the week when I don't have energy to cook. Saved us probably $200/month by reducing takeout.

Bonus: kids find it fun to pick what they want for dinner from the "freezer menu" I made. Yeah it's dumb but whatever works.

This is legit. Got a 5.0 cubic foot one and it's cut our grocery trips in half. The Frigidaire brand seems solid too - how's yours holding up after a year?

Real question: what do you batch cook? We have a freezer but I feel like we end up wasting a lot because I freeze things randomly and then forget what's in there lol

the space concern is real but honestly most garages can handle a 7 cu ft one if you position it right. We moved ours to a corner and it's barely noticeable. Total game changer though, 100% recommend

Got mine 2 months ago and same energy. I batch cook pulled pork, ground beef, chili, soup. Takes like 6 hours on a Sunday and then I'm golden for a month. No more 6pm panic about what's for dinner

This is legitimately the move. We meal prep every other Sunday now and weeknights are SO much easier. Just thaw something in the morning and dinner basically makes itself
