My kids beat me at Mario Kart and I don't know how to feel

So my 8 and 6 year old absolutely destroyed me at Mario Kart today. Like I wasn't even close. Part of me was proud but also part of me was like wait did my kids just embarrass me at Mario Kart? This is a weird time in parenting where they're getting genuinely better at things than you. Anyone else experience this or am I just getting old?

This is the moment you realize they're not babies anymore. My oldest is 10 and she destroys me at every game now. I've accepted my role is just to lose convincingly so she stays entertained on rainy days.

Don't worry man, I still can't beat my kids and I've got no shame admitting it. They grew up with controllers in their hands basically. Just means you're doing something right letting them play.

Haha that's the dream though right? Means they're getting good hand eye coordination and quick reflexes. I'd take getting beat at Mario Kart over my 8 year old still asking me to open everything.
