Thinking about getting one of those fancy espresso machines. My mornings are impossible without coffee and I'm tired of instant stuff. Anyone have recommendations? Don't want to spend like 500 bucks but also don't want total junk. Mid-range options?
Depending on how serious you are, you could start with a cheaper model and see if you actually use it enough to justify the expensive one. My espresso machine was like 300 bucks and I use it every morning so for me it was worth it.
I went down this rabbit hole last year. Ended up getting a mid-range one and honestly it sits there half the time because I'm too tired to use it properly. If you just want better coffee fast, a good French press might be your answer instead.

Those fancy machines are fun but real talk they're a commitment. You gotta clean them regularly or they get gunked up and stop working right. If you're already at the point where mornings don't work without coffee though, might be worth it.
