PSA: Don't use the dollar tree as your only grocery source

Learned this the hard way. Yeah stuff is cheap but the quality is... not great. Tried buying "store brand" cereal there and it tastes like cardboard. Their bread goes moldy in like 2 days.

I know money's tight for a lot of us but mixing DT with regular grocery stores is the move. Just needed to say it lol

Dollar Tree is good for cleaning supplies and paper products but yeah, never their food. Bread especially - it's like they speed-age it or something.

This is solid advice. Mix it with regular grocery shopping and you can actually save money without eating cardboard disguised as cereal.

That cereal is ROUGH. I can't tell if it's actually cheaper when you factor in it being inedible though lol

The bread comment hit home. Bought a loaf there once and it had visible mold before the date. Not even close.
