Sports take: is anyone else tired of the NBA drama or is it just me

All the trades and player movement and drama. I just want to watch basketball without keeping up with Twitter gossip. Give me the old days when guys stayed on one team for a career. My 10yo asked me yesterday why players switch teams so much and I couldn't even explain it properly. Used to love basketball, now I barely watch.

I stopped keeping up with it all and my basketball enjoyment actually went up. Now I just watch the games when I can and don't worry about the offseason soap opera.

The drama machine is exhausting. Give me a season where players just play for their team and we follow the actual games instead of transfer sagas. Is that too much to ask?
