Sunday football ruined by a 5 year old

Tried to watch the game yesterday and my son decided that was the perfect time to practice his drum skills. On an actual drum kit. The noise, the chaos, the constant "Dad watch this." I love the kid but man I just wanted 2 hours of peace with some football. My wife thought it was hilarious. Anyone else have their hobbies completely taken over by kids?

Haha this is my life every Sunday. My son discovered the ukulele and I swear he times it perfectly for kickoff. I've learned to just embrace it or record the games later. The drums though, that's next level chaos.

Five year olds have an impeccable sense of timing for interrupting the one thing you wanted to do. At least he's practicing something and not asking for screen time I guess.

Record the game and watch it later after bedtime. I've given up on live sports and just catch them whenever. My kids are not on the same schedule as the NFL apparently.
