Just got both kids down at 8:15. It's now 8:42 and I'm on my third cup of coffee sitting in complete silence. No one is asking me to find their shoes, refill their water, or settle an argument. This 2 hours before I have to go to bed is pure gold. Why do I waste it scrolling Reddit instead of actually relaxing?

The "no one asking me to find their shoes" is so specific because this is literally what parenting is. All day solving logistics problems and then finally nobody needs you for 25 minutes. Underrated pleasure
