Weekend grilling setup advice needed

Finally got the backyard looking decent and want to invest in a proper grill. Been looking at Traeger vs Weber vs just going old school charcoal. I like the idea of smoking stuff but don't want something that's gonna be a huge pain to maintain. What are you guys running? How much did you spend? Worth the investment or am I overthinking this?

Can't go wrong with either but if you're doing this right and grilling regularly, the investment in a Traeger pays for itself. Set it and forget it is a game changer when you've got kids.
