Weekend plans got canceled, now what

Had a whole thing planned with friends this weekend but it fell through last minute. Now I got an open Saturday and Sunday and I'm not sure what to do with myself. Too late to plan anything major. Guess it's a good time to finally clean the garage and catch up on home stuff I've been avoiding.

Perfect opportunity for whatever the kids actually want to do. When my ex cancels plans I usually just let mine pick the activity and we roll with it. Way less stressful honestly.

Been there. I usually treat it as found time to catch up on stuff around the house or just chill. Kids are usually happy with movie time and homemade pizza or something simple.

This is always the silver lining of cancellations. Use it to just be present with the kids without the pressure of 'we gotta go do this thing.' Some of the best afternoons happen this way.
