Weekend plans ruined by weather

Had the whole thing mapped out. Kids wanted to go to the lake, I wanted to fish, wife wanted to do a picnic. Forecast changed yesterday and now it's supposed to rain all weekend. Stuck inside with two kids under 8. Any suggestions for keeping them entertained that won't make me lose my mind? Already planning on a movie marathon but need backup activities.

I feel this one. Weather pivots are brutal when you've got the whole day planned. Silver lining though - puddle jumping in the rain hits different and the kids usually love it even more than the original plan.

Ugh, that last minute forecast change is the worst. We had something similar last month and ended up doing an indoor movie day with popcorn instead. The kids didn't care, honestly they were just happy we were all together.
