What's everyone cooking this weekend
I'm thinking about attempting a brisket in the smoker for the first time. Got a 12 pounder and watched like 10 YouTube videos. Either it's gonna be amazing or we're ordering pizza. My wife is not optimistic but I'm feeling confident. Anyone have any tips or am I about to waste 14 hours and 40 dollars on meat?
A 12 pounder is going to take you a solid 14-16 hours depending on your smoker. Worth planning overnight or starting before dawn. The brisket flat is where the meat is though, so don't skimp on the rub.
