Got the kids' soccer games Saturday morning, then supposed to hit up a BBQ at my brother's place if the rain holds off. Might actually get to watch the game on Sunday without someone interrupting every 5 minutes. What about you guys, anything fun planned?
Nothing fancy here. Kids' activities, family hangout, trying to squeeze in a little yard work if I have energy left. Weekends with kids are basically just a series of small missions that somehow fill 48 hours.
Soccer games and a BBQ sounds like a solid Saturday. Just make sure you actually leave the soccer game on time or you'll be that guy showing up to your brother's place when everyone's already eaten.

Trying to get my kids to eat something before the game so they don't have complete meltdowns by the second half. And then yeah, brother's BBQ is mandatory. Those are the weekends that remind you why you signed up for this parenting thing.
