Why do kids ask for the same book every single night
We've read "Dinosaurs Love Underpants" approximately 847 times. I can recite it in my sleep. My son will cry actual tears if we try to mix it up with a different book. Is this normal or is my kid just broken? Asking for my sanity.
Lmao 847 times is a lot but also... you can literally zone out while reading it so it's kind of a win for you too? I've had full internal conversations while narrating board books
This is actually developmentally normal. They want the same book because it's predictable and comforting. Way better sign than a kid who's anxious about change imo
