He watches the same dinosaur documentary every single day. Knows like 20 different species and their pronunciations better than I do. I'm just happy he's learning something but I need a break from hearing about velociraptors.
That's the age where they just latch onto one thing and repeat it forever. Mine did this with construction trucks. You're gonna be quizzed on dinosaur facts whether you want to or not. Just embrace it and maybe you'll both learn something.
Dude mine did this for like 6 months straight. Knew more about dinosaurs than I ever will. Now he's onto space. Just roll with it, they learn crazy fast at that age.
This is awesome honestly. At least he's interested in learning something real instead of just vegging out to cartoons. Let him ride the dinosaur wave as long as it lasts.
Oh man, my 5 year old is in the same boat. We went through a whole phase like this. The crazy thing is he'll probably move on to a different thing next month and you'll miss the dinosaur era. Enjoy it while it lasts because he's actually learning a ton.

My oldest had this phase too. Actually got him some paleontology books and he loved being treated like a real expert. Might be worth feeding into it.
